Objectives : The purpose of this study is to confirm the basis for the effectiveness of intervention for
MCI’s prevention of dementia progression.
Methods : CINAHL, MEDLINE, PubMed, Science Direct, PEDro, Cochrane library was used to search
for published papers from 2000 to 2016 using mild cognitive impairment, prevention, and
randomized controlled trials (RCTs). Based on the results, two authors analyzed the papers
that met the selection criteria.
Results : Finally, seven papers were selected. Among them, there were two papers showing that the effectiveness
of the preventive program was not proven to be four, and one study which was
effective only in some items.
Conclusion : As a result, it was possible to establish the basis of the effect of hard cognitive impairment.
A program is needed to prevent progression to pre-dementia through mild cognitive impairment
management.
