본 연구는 대학에서의 통일교육에 대한 현황과 개선방안에 대한 것으로 통일 옴니버스 특강 지 원 사업의 현황과 문제점 그리고 개선방안을 분석하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 분석결과 2016년 2학 기부터 현재까지 3회에 걸쳐 진행된 ‘통일 옴니버스 특강 지원 사업’은 수도권 대학과 비수도권 대학으로 각각 50% 선정되었으며, 경상권에 속해 있는 대학들이 중복해서 지속적으로 사업에 참여 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 통일 특강은 대학별로 예산 범위에서 3회 정도 개최하고 현장 학습은 2회 정도 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 통일 특강 사업을 진행하는데 나타난 가장 주된 문제 점으로는 취업난으로 통일교육 기회 감소를 둘 수 있으며, 교육부의 각종 지원 사업으로 대학의 통 일인식 부족, 교양과목의 감소 및 폐지, 한국사회 정치노선 투쟁으로 정치피로화, 통일 특강 담당 자의 통일관 및 가치관, 일회성 지원으로 인한 통일교육 단절 등을 둘 수 있다. 통일교육 발전방안 으로는 통일교육은 평생교육이 되어야 하며, 학생 참여형으로 진행하며, 통일교육 인증제 도입, 통 일마일리지 부여 등을 제시하고 있다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 현 단계 대학 통일교육은 사회구성원 이 함께 참여할 때 발전할 수 있다는 점이다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the status and problem of unification omnibus lecture support project and the improvement plan of unification education in university. As a result of the analysis, the "Unification Omnibus Special Lecture Support Project" which was held three times from the second semester of 2016 to the present, was selected 50% each from the metropolitan and non-metropolitan universities. And the special lecture about unification was held about 3 times in the budget range for each university and 2 times of field learning were done. One of the main problems in the course of the unification lecture project is the reduction of unification education opportunities due to job hunting, the lack of awareness of unification of universities, and reduction & abolition of liberal arts courses. The unification hall and values of the person in charge of unification, and the disconnection of unification education due to one-time support could be other reasons of the problem of the unification lecture project. Thus, unification education should be lifelong education, student participation, unification education certification system, and unification mileage. Based on these results, it is evident that the current university unification education should be developed with the members of the society participate together.
