심리·상담·치료학 분야에서 ‘자아성찰’,‘자기성찰’ 등은 매우 중요한 용어이다. 하지만 연구자들 사이에 서도 그 용어와 개념이 통일되어 있지 못한 실정이다. 이 논문은 이러한 용어와 개념 사용의 혼란스러움을 조금 이나마 개선하고자 하는 의도와 목적을 가진다. 그래서 이 논문은 ‘자아성찰’과 ‘자기성찰’등의 용어를 사용 하는 심리·상담·치료학 분야의 논저들을 검색하여 그 사용의 현황 등을 검토하였다. 대상 논문은 검색어 ‘자 아성찰& 자아성찰’로 상세 검색한 관련 논문은 5건의 논문이다. 즉 학위논문 2건, 국내학술지논문 3건 등이다. 그리고 검색어 ‘자기성찰& 자기성찰’로 상세 검색한 관련 논문 중 심리·상담학 분야의 논문만을 13건 선정하 였다. 즉 학위논문 9건, 국내학술지논문 4건 등이다. 이 속에서‘자아’,‘자기’,‘성찰’,‘자아성찰’,‘자기성 찰’등을 비교 검토하였다. 그리고 프로이드의‘자아’와 융의‘자기’등의 용어와 개념, 전통적인 언어관습, 동 양적 사고 등을 모두 고려하여 ‘자아’와 ‘자아성찰’,‘자기’,‘자기성찰’등을 엄격히 구분하여 사용할 것을 제안하였다.
In the fields of psychology, counseling, and therapy, ‘ego-introspection’ and ‘self-introspection’ are very important terms. However, the terms and the concept are not unified among researchers. This paper is intended to improve this confusion in using the terms a bit. So, In this paper, the articles in the field of psychology, counseling, and therapy using concepts such as 'ego- introspection' and 'self- introspection' were searched and the status of use were examined. The target of this article is to examine five papers related to the detailed search of the terms 'self-reflection & self-reflection'. Two dissertations and three professional journals. and only thirteen theses in psychology and counseling field were selected among the related papers which were searched by the search term 'self-reflection & self-reflection'. nine dissertations and four professional journals. In this study, ‘ego', 'self', 'introspection', 'ego-introspection' and 'self-introspection' were compared. And I proposed to use them strictly classify ‘ego' and 'ego-introspection', ‘self' and 'self-introspection' considering term such as Freud's 'ego' and Jung's 'self', traditional language customs and oriental thinking.
