본 연구는 급격히 늘고 있는 다문화가정 학생들의 학교적응의 문제에 대한 어려움을 고찰하고 이에 대비하여 학교현장에서 다문화가정 중학생을 위한 학교적응력 향상 프로그램을 구안하는 데 그 목 적이 있다. 이를 위해 다문화가정 중학생을 직접 지도한 경험이 있는 교사를 대상으로 다문화가정 중학생의 학교생활적응에 필요한 요소추출을 위한 요구조사를 실시하였다. 문헌고찰과 요구조사 결 과를 토대로 본 연구에서 필요한 학교적응력 향상 프로그램의 구성요소를 도출했으며, 도출된 구성 요소를 중심으로 잠정적인 프로그램을 구안하였다. 프로그램 잠정안의 적용가능성과 목표와의 일치 성, 논리적 연결성을 전문가회의를 통해 자문 받아 최종적으로 프로그램을 수정․보완하였다. 구안 한 프로그램의 전문가 검토 결과 현장 적용 가능성과 일반화의 가능성을 인정받았으며, 향후 일선 단위학교에서 본 프로그램을 적용한다면, 다문화가정 중학생의 학교적응력을 향상시키는 데 있어 실질적인 도움을 제공할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구는 다문화가정 중학생을 대상으로 그들의 학교적 응력을 높이기 위해 학교장면에서 실제적으로 적용할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하고자 했다는 점에 서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있다.
The purpose of this study is required that the school reviews a current status of the students' adaptabilities at the school and establishes the Improvement Program of the School Adaptability against the problem to enhance adaptabilities of middle school students. A comprehensive needs analysis to identify critical elements for the program carried out to teacher group who have field experience with the students. It has been developed based on the results of the theoretical background study and the comprehensive survey, which has been finally reviewed and complemented by the professionals in the aspects of feasibility, conformity with the main purposes, and its logical connections. Considering all feedbacks from the professionals on feasibility and availability of the program, it will be more effective and practical approach at school to enhance adaptability of middle school students even though it needs to be field verification. Also, this study is meaningful in that it developed school adaptability improvement program which is practically applicable in school setting for middle school students of multicultural families.
