This study highlighted the value of play as effective media in counseling and reviewed the effects of inner
experiences of play therapist in the session, on the therapeutic relationships between client and the therapist’s
responses toward client. The value of play and the prospection toward play therapist’s inner experiences on
bioenergetic view was suggested. In summary, play therapist’s inner experiences affect to the therapist-client
relationship as the form of countertransference, and they affect to the therapist’s responses in the session through
resonant emotionality and coregulation upon attachment between client-therapist.
