This is an experimental study to determine the effects of the music listening on decrease of occupational stress,
fatigue and anxiety for fighter-pilots in the air force. Thirty one participants indicated their occupational stress,
fatigue and anxiety level before and after the experiment by using Occupational Stress Inventory for
fighter-pilots, Multidimensional Fatigue Scale and State Anxiety inventory. The experimental group listened to
different kinds of music for 10 sessions while, the control group had no intervention. The data were analyzed
using SPSS 23.0 statistics program with an independent t-test and a paired t-test. There was a significant
difference in terms of occupational stress, fatigue and anxiety level between two groups. Therefore, we concluded
that music listening was an effective way to support for fighter-pilots to control their occupational stress, fatigue
and anxiety.
