현대미술의 흐름과 국제화 시대의 변화 등으로 지역을 미술교육의 장으로 활용하면서 미술교육의 커리큘럼으로 지역특성에 따른 역사적, 문화적 가치를 반영한 지역사회 중심의 예술교육(CBAE)이 강조되고 있다. 본 연구는 CBAE에 기초한 신라문 화예술 프로그램이 아동의 자아존중감과 창의적 리더십에 미치는 효과를 알아봄으로써, 교육적 의의를 찾고자 하였다. CBAE에 기초한 신라문화예술 프로그램은 프로그램에 참여한 초등학교 1,2학년 20명의 아동이 지역사회 문화재의 토의 중, 주제를 선정하여 다양한 조사, 견학 후 예술표상활동을 하는 것으로 주 1회, 180분, 12주 동안 진행하였다. 사전검사와 사후검사를 비교 후, 자아존중감의 경우, 일반적, 가정적, 사회적 자아존중감에 유의미한 영향이 나타나, CBAE에 기초한 신라문화예술 프로그램이 아동의 자아존중감에 형성에 의미 있는 프로그램으로 판단된다. 또한, 창의적 리더십의 경우, 개인 적 리더십의 하위 요소 ‘자기관리’와 ‘건설적 사고’와 문제해결적 리더십의 하위요소 ‘창의적 사고력’과 ‘창의적 성향’에 긍정 적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만, 문제해결적 리더십의 요소 중 창의적 행동에는 만족도가 다소 낮게 나왔고, 사회적 리더십은 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 본 연구는 결과를 파악하고, 그 원인을 유추하여 봄으로써 CBAE를 기초 한 프로그램 활성화에 이바지하고자 한다.
Community-Based Art Education(CBAE), which reflects historical and cultural values according to local characteristics, is being emphasized as a curriculum of art education due to the trends of modern art and changes of the internationalization age. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Silla cultural arts program based on CBAE on children's self-esteem and creative leadership, thereby finding educational significance. Silla cultural arts program was conducted for 12weeks with 20 elementary school students. The children selected and studied topics while discussing about the cultural properties of their local community, made field trips, and performed artistic presentations. To compare the results of pretest and posttest, the program showed significant effects on the general, domestic, and social self-esteem of children. In the case of creative leadership, it had positive effect on not only 'self-management' and 'constructive thinking' of personal leadership, but also 'creative thinking' and 'creative tendency' of problem- solving leadership. This study aims to contribute to activating the program based on CBAE by identifying the effects and analyze the causes.
