The purpose of this study was to ascertain what influence the class where students with intellectual disabilities were able to use smart devices have on their class participations and challenging behaviors. The subjects were three high school students who attended a special education school in the city of A. In this study, multiple probe baseline design across subjects was used. The results of this study revealed that 1) social studies with smart devices increased the rate of all three students’ class participations on average and caused the incidence rate of students’ challenging behaviors to be reduced during the lesson. 2) the increase in class participations and the decrease in challenging behaviors of all three participants were maintained until five weeks after the intervention, although there were an individual difference between the three students. In the study afterwards, it is needed to conduct the research of behavioral changes of learners from using smart devices in class including subject students with different disability characteristics and age.
