The propose of this study was to investigate the development and application of program planning model for job competency-based performance improvement in organizations. Based on the Dubois(1993)\'s model, program planning process and items were made. The data were collected through interviews, mailed questionnaires, 00 Electronics\'s internal information, and expert workshop from March, 2006 to June, 2006. Research targets were people development group manager and staffs, customer service center manager and staffs.
Based on the process and findings of the study, the major conclusions of this study were as follows: ① It was suggested that more specified performance-based program planning model could be used effectively in organization context. ② Because program planning model for job competency-based performance improvement in organizations was focus on organizational and personal performance rather than individual choice, training assessment for individual interest and choice must be accomplished separately.
