국어, 영어, 수학, 세상엔 수 많은 과목들이 있지만 「꿈」이라는 과목은 없다. 다섯 살 「꿈」, 일곱 살 「꿈」, 1학년 「꿈」, 2학년 「꿈」…, 이렇게 「꿈」한 과목만 있으면 얼마나 좋을까? 어린이는 꿈 안에서 살고 어른들은 꿈 밖에서 산다고 하지 않았던가, 다행히도 미술교육의 목적은 어린이에게 꿈을 주는 일이다. 아니, 꿈꾸게 하는 일이다. 세잔느는 사과에서, 에른스트는 마룻바닥에서 꿈을 찾았고, 밀레는 들판에서, 뭉크는 다리 위에서, 모네는 연못에서 꿈을 키웠다. 마티스는 가위로, 쇠라는 점으로, 폴록은 막대기로 꿈을 그렸다. 뒤샹은 변기를 갖다 놓았고, 크리스토는 건물을 포장하면서, 워홀은 사진을, 바스키야는 낙서를 통해 어릴적 꿈을 이루었다.
The purpose of this paper is to develop and use art program for developing dream and imagination of children. The content of this paper presents theoretical basis for developing dream and imagination first, studies 15 programs of dream and imagination contained in adult art secondly, and develops and presents 33 kinds of dream and imagination program contained in common objects thirdly. Dream and imagination of artist are more strong than fact and more emotional than knowledge. Art education describing oneself or objects differently is a very proper subject to develop originality, imagination and initiativeness more than any other subject. This program does not provide standardized work making method which was provided in existing juvenile art text. There is no duty of making completed work. This is because all of the children learning art do not have to be all artists. However, it is only desired to exert dream and imagination through this program and to see objects newly. Although this is a brief content which has been written at children\'s eye level, this program will be completed when parents and teachers use sufficient data and real objects additionally. Finding of fire, designing of wheel, airplane and TV, and even a piece of crayon are results originated by someone\'s dream and imagination. There were no objects before, and the world will be changed by dreaming another change. Therefore, it means a lot to develop and educate dream and imagination of children who will live their life in the far future. Dream and imagination are our future real situation. Childrens are the seeds having their own length they fill up flower garden and dream blue mountain range their thinking is always soft and round.
