The aim of this study is to introduce the definition of the term and concept of the Romanian oral literature and its classification. The main field of this study consists of three chapters such as ‘the terminology and concept of the Romanian oral literature’(the second chapter), ‘the classification of Romanian oral literature’(the third chapter) and ‘the collection of text and situation of the 19th century’(the fourth chapter). Beginning from the early works composed under the main characteristics of the oral literature as collectivism, orality, tradition, anonymity and integration, Romanian anonymous authors tried to create the world of autochthonous culture and come to realize the imaginary and creative world in which was found the national emotion and sentiment, pain and pleasure, hope and passion etc. In the works of folklore gathered in the three principalities as Moldova, Muntenia, Transilvania, we can find easily the basic freedom, love and labor. The third chapter, in which was categorized Romanian oral literature into two groups : literary creation which includes the function of the ritual and excludes the function of the ritual, shows us the other angle of the view for understanding of Romanian oral literature. Romanian oral literature contributed to develope written literature and to offer the quality of based themes to the modern literature. The elements and traditional identities of the Romanian oral literature has the significant role in the Romanian literary history. In this study, I introduced only the minimal Romanian oral literature. Next time I\'ll explain the necessary process of Romanian oral literature as the history of the oral literature, themes and motives, character of personage, the influence of Romanian oral literature upon written literature, similarity between Romanian and balkan folk elements etc.
