This thesis starts from the belief that traditional songs handed down orally have the capability to serve as a precious cultural asset in today\'s cultural industry. In this vein, this paper is mainly about economic side of the capitalist society. It is based on a project of the Korearoot company, . This project features the traditional Korean culture and was compiled as part of the first Project to turn the original form of Korean traditional culture in 2002 funded by Korea Culture & Content Agency (KOCCA).
It was considered that content on Korean traditional sounds, including folksongs handed down containing rich and abundant emotion of the Koreans, are endowed with various factors to give influence on people\'s lifestyle and therefore can play its full part as a cultural content if it is properly connected with cultural industry.
Also, , made up of sounds that are fun and unique and reflect the superiority of the Korean culture, holds a significant meaning in that it can contribute to widening the subject of the cultural industry.
