본 논문에서는 다인수 학급에서 교육적으로 소외될 수 밖에 없는 현실에 놓인 학습장애 학생이 일반 학급에서 받는 교육적 여건을 일반 학급 학생의 다양성과 교육내용 및 교육과정의 방대함의 측면에서 살펴보고 그에 따른 교육적 요구를 채워주기 위한 방법들을 제안하고자 한다. 교육적 통합 방법으로 개별화 교육 프로그램 (IEP)의 작성, 개별화 및 수준별 수업, 다수준 포함수업, 교수적 수정 및 적합화의 방법이 제안되어 왔다. 이러한 방법들을 간단히 살펴보고, 장애 학생의 통합을 위한 교육적 통합 방법을 수업의 단계에서 고려해야 할 교수학습의 요소별로 적용 방안을 설명하고자 한다. 위에서 제시된 여러 방법들을 종합적으로 각 수업의 단계에서 교수·학습 실제에 교육적 통합을 어떻게 적용할 수 있을지 적용 방안을 예를 통해 보여주고자 한다. 따라서 교사가 학습장애 학생만을 위한 “특별한” 방법 혹은 한 두 학생만을 위한 “extra” 과제의 의미가 아니라, 효과적 수업을 위해 일반교사나 특수교사 누구라도 거쳐야만 하는 단계인 수업 계획의 단계에서 “모든 학생”을 위한 방법으로 제안하고자 한다. 마지막으로는 이러한 노력이 실천되기 위해 공유되어야 할 신념 체계를 제안하고자 한다.
Students with learning disabilities have been placed in the classroom where their educational needs are not met from both the general education teacher and special education teacher. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the conditions under which students with learning disabilities are educationally served and how the educational conditions could be improved to meet the needs of students with learning disabilities in inclusive setting. It has been suggested to implement IEP, individualized and differentiated instruction, multilevel teaching, and instructional adaptations include students with learning disabilities in general education setting. The purpose of this paper is to suggest the methods and strategies that might promote involvement and progress in the general education setting for student with learning disabilities, and to provide recommendations with regard to how these strategies might be applied in lesson planning steps to be more practical and appropriate for use with not only for this population but also other students in the general education classroom. Finally, it is suggested to share the value systems as educators for educating all the students in our classroom. Key words : Inclusion, Instructional Strategy, Learning Disabilities
