급격히 변화하는 현대사회는 경제적으로 빈익빈 부익부 현상이 심화되어 가정간의 소득격차가 심해지고 있다. 특히 우리나라는 IMF 시대를 전후해 저소득층 가정이 그 이전에 비해 늘어난 실정이다. 보건복지부의 2001년 자료에 따르면 국민 기초생활 보장 수급자는 전국 135만 명에 이르는데, 그 중 18세 미만 아동 및 청소년이 33만 명에 이른다. 국민 기초생활 보장 수급자와 함께 수급 대상에서는 제외되지만 최저 생계비 수준의 소득으로 생활하는 가정을 합하면, 우리사회의 저소득 가정 비율은 크게 늘어났다(정안숙, 2003).
The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of poverty children\'s sociality through group. The research questions for this study as follows: Question 1) How does the group sociality program works to poverty children to improve? Question 2) How did the group sociality improvement program affect to the group? The final result shows that the group have been through: Process of group play activity obtained and improved more points. However this has not highly improved in the statistics by having some reasons of poor social environment with keeping the experimental group away from their family. The result may not stand out great without settle several problems beforehand such as separation from family, home environment, etc. However, several positive and hopeful changes been appeared despite of circumstance throughout the individual therapy session. In this case, it is necessary approach in concentration.
