The aim of this thesis is to analyze the background characteristics of the instructor participants in Information-Ethics Education, and the factors that influence their attendance. This study was based on a survey of 339 participants who had attended Information-Ethics Education courses for instructors provided by the government institute, Korea Agency for Digital Opportunity and Promotion (KADO). The focus was on how each participant\'s background influenced the participants\' motivation, and the specific factors that related to each motivational factor.
As a result, this study provides implications for Information-Ethics Education for instructors. After conducting a regression analysis to determine the factors affecting the participation in the Information-Ethics Education for instructors, it was found that gender, education level and majors were statistically significant. In order to enhance the effectiveness of Information-Ethics Education for instructors, characteristics of participants must be considered. Designing comprehensive education programs taking into account the participants\' characteristics and corresponding motivations are essential.
