The purpose of this thesis is to inspect how extracurricular activities are actually implemented concerning extracurricular activity curriculum in schools for the blind in the nation. This thesis processed data collected by surveying teachers working for 12 schools for the blind in the nation with SPSS 12.0 statistics program. Suggesting mainly on the results, the conclusions are as follows; As for actual condition of extracurricular activities, the subject of formation and operation plans of extracurricular activities is independently operated and the advisable form was that with writing and recording an instruction diary or an instruction plan, as for teaching-learning plans of extracurricular activities. As for time operation of five sections of extracurricular activities, the most was mainly operating elastically, and as for formation type of study group, it was operated in the form as the class unit prefers most, and as for using materials for extracurricular activities, self-making was the most. Schools were using the materials that match to character of the blind students by making those materials by themselves. As for the way of extracurricular activities instruction, it was mainly with minor groups, and it can be known that the role of teachers in charge is important in instruction. As for assessment of extracurricular activities, observation assessment was used most, and the teachers used activity level in assessment.
