지각된 유능감, 자결성, 그리고 내적동기간의 인과 관계를 나타내는 모형이 제안 되었으며 3개의 질문지가 2개의 초등학교 학생 688명(남학생 361명, 그리고 여학생 327명)에게 배포되었다. 이 학생들은 1주일에 3회씩 정규적으로 체육시간에 참여하 는 것으로 보고 되었다. 설정된 가설 모형을 검증하는데 AMOS 5.0프로그램이 사용되 었으며 모형은 데이터에 충분히 적합한 것[남학생의 경우 X2 =315.06, 여학생의 경 우 X2=292.07, 남학생의 경우 RMR=.03, 여학생의 경우 RMR=.02]으로 나타났다. 여러 가지 다른 다양한 적합 지수를 고려할 때 본 연구에서 설정한 모형은 데이터에 충분 히 적합한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 학생들이 지각한 자기 유능감이 높으면 높을수록 자결 성이 높았으며 자결성은 자기 유능감과 내적동기간의 의미 있는 중재자로서의 역할 을 하는 것으로 나타났다.
A model representing three psychological variables(perceived self-competence, self-determination, and intrinsic motivation) was proposed and three questionnaires were administered to 2 elementary school children (N=688; 361 boys and 327 girls). The children were reported that they participated in physical education class 3 times per week regularly. Using AMOS 5 program, the hypothesized model was tested and the model was fit the data adequately. The model adequately represented the relationships among the variables[X2 =315.06 for boys and 292.07 for girls, RMR=.03 for boys and .02 for girls]. Various other fit indices revealed that the model did adequately fit the data. The higher the self-competence of the students, the more self-determination. Self-determination was a significant mediators between self-competence and intrinsic motivation.
