Children who cannot concentrate at home and at school behaving distractedly and impulsively are defined generally as ‘ADHD’. The word ‘ADHD’ includes intension to consider children with ADHD as ‘disabled children’ having inappropriate behavior characteristic and perception system. And these children are believed that they should be medicated for temporary behavior improvement. But I will not use the word ‘disable’ on intension. I will use the word ‘ADH’. With this educational point of view, we can expect positive effect which teachers and parents originally intended. the aim of this study is to analyze children’s some specific inclinations and reasons, and find educational suggestions in brain-science way.
The cause of ADH can be found from the frontal lobe’s disfunction and imbalanced secretion of neurotransmitter. It is the most important whether children’s behavior can be improved or not. Our brain has a characteristic of ‘brain-plasticity’ that means to be able to change its function according to environment and experience after birth. The concept of brain plasticity
supports the insistence that children’s problems can be improved by education. In this study, I tried to understand ADH children in brain-science way, so that practical educational ways can be suggested and applied at school. Moreover, various kinds of neurotransmitter and the relation between human beings’ feeling and behavior are worthy being studied further.
