본 연구는 예비 유아교사들의 한국 전래동화에 대한 이해에 관한 것이다. 효과적인 예비유아교사교육과 유아교육현장에서의 효율적인 한국 전래동화 교육을 위해 예비 유아교사들이 가지고 있는 한국 전래동화에 관한 이해를 알아보았다. 예비 유아교사들이 보인 한국 전래동화에 관한 이해는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교훈적 가치, 둘째, 시대적 가치관의 문제, 셋째, 전통사회에 대한 새로운 인식, 넷째, 즐거운 기분등이다. 이는 대학교육의 현장에서 예비유아교사들을 위한 문학교육 관련 수업을 계획하는 데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
This study is a story about Korean folk stories understood by preservice early childhood education teachers. Their understanding of Korean folk stories were examined for effective training of prospective early education teachers and efficient teaching of Korean folk stories at early childhood education facilities. Five undergraduates majoring in early childhood education were selected to participate in the study. Their understanding of Korean folk stories found by this study includes: first, giving lessons; second, matters of values in each era; third, new perception of traditional societies; and fourth, pleasure and amusement. It could be used as basic materials for planning literature-related lectures for prospective early childhood education teachers at colleges and universities.
