The purpose of this study is to reveal the real identities of preschool teachers that shows to the mass of people, make the basic data for building images of preschool teachers, establish the image of desirable teachers by analyzing images of preschool teachers in TV dramas. The objects of this study were some characters playing preschool teachers in four dramas and the data is collected through VODs and drama scripts and analyzed by qualitative analyzing method. The abridged results are as follows. Firstly, from the characteristic of human nature aspect, preschool teachers in TV dramas have been shown ; a person who loves children, a person who has warm heart, a person who has sunny disposition, a person who is altruistic, a person who is pure, a person who is soft-hearted, a person who is moral, a person who is frugal, a person who is family-minded, a person who is dedicated, or a person who is patient. Secondly, from the external character aspect, they have been shown as the typically feminine and innocent images. Thirdly, from the professional qualities and role aspect, they have been shown as the following images, that is, education experts, parents, amateurs, or lookers. Fourthly, from the professional status aspect, they have been shown as the following images ; the occupation that requires a firm professional consciousness, the occupation that needs heavy and tough works, the occupation that the workers can finish the work and go home early, the occupation that offers the basic pay, the occupation that doesn\'t require high qualifications, or the occupation that doesn\'t occupy the high social status.
