This study aimed to develop, apply and verify the effectiveness of education program of
harmonious program for 5 year old children, designed to improve the children's personality and
sociality. First of all, virtue items, goal and objectives of the program were extracted through
document analysis related to personality education, moral education, and social development in
domestic and abroad. The content validity and conformance were evaluated by 1 early childhood
professionals and 3 doctoral students. The effectiveness of the program was testified in a 5 year old
class in a kindergarten, D city. The program was implemented for 27 children in the experiment
group during 20 sessions, 20 weeks while 27 children in control group had life subject activities
based on Nuri Curriculum. The result showed that the education program of harmonious living habit
for aged 5 children, was effective for children's emotional development and social behaviour.
