The purpose of this research was to explore the characteristics and meaning of reflective thinking method in a teacher education course. For that purpose, I applied reflective thinking method-journal writing to a teaching profession course-'Educational administration and management'. And I observed the class and interviewed deeply about their experience of journal writing in their teaching profession course. According to the findings, pre-servicce teachers 'reviewed the lessons', 'thought deeply', 'made their thinking', 'connected the theory into the reality', and 'reflected themselves as teacher', when they wrote journal in their teaching profession course. From the results of this study, I argued that 'pre-service teachers connected the theory into the reality', 'were stimulated emotionally', and 'built their personal theory as teachers' at the process of journal writing. From the findings, this study made three suggestions to enhance journal writing at the teaching profession course. First, we should apply selectively journal writing at the teaching profession course. Second, we should overcome the problem of the compelled journal writing at the teaching profession course. Third, we should consider the difference among individuals at the teaching profession course.
