본 연구는 유치원의 주제중심 수업에서 교사가 교과내용지식을 어떻게 이해하고 있는지를 알아보는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 유치원 교사 11명을 대상으로 주제 ‘색’과 관련된 수업활동에서 나타나는 교과내용지식을 면담법을 이용하여 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 연구결과 유치원 교사는 주제 ‘색’에 포함되어 있는 교과내용을 충분히 이해하지 못하고 있으며 교과내용에 대한 개념적 오류를 보이고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 유치원 교사의 수업전문성을 위해서 유치원 교사의 교과내용지식을 증진시킬 수 있는 구체적인 유아교사교육 프로그램이 요구된다는 것을 시사하고 있다.
The purpose of this study was to understand the kindergarten teachers' content knowledge related in 'color' theme. Eleven kindergarten teachers were interviewed by interview's script. Data were collected with teachers' interview data about content knowledge of 'color' theme. After interviewed about content knowledge related in 'color' theme, those data were analysed by inductive categorical system. The results of this study were (1) Kindergarten teachers had a lack of understanding about content knowledge related in 'color' theme (2) Kindergarten teachers did misunderstand about content knowledge related in 'color' theme. From these results, we know that we need more kindergarten teachers' education program for abtain content knowledge
