The purpose of this study is to analyze the reality of the operation of research groups of curricula education (RGCE) and to find ways to promote their activities. To achieve the goals, elementary school teachers' profession and the performances of RGCE were analyzed. In addition to this, the drawbacks which each stage of government agencies-schools, local education board, education board of each cities, ministry of education-have concerning RGCE's furtherance were investigated. The findings were as followings. First of all, government agencies are not performing their part in the domain of administrative and financial support. The next, the cooperation system between RGCE and external professional research institutes is not established yet. The third, a comprehensive system that can help RGCE exchange their research products is not formulated. Lastly, the experiences of professional human resources who have their specialties in curriculum education are not being utilized in current system. On the bases of these investigation, a few suggestions for the facilitation of RGCE were presented in this article.
