The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of kindergarten teachers' beliefs on teaching practice about Developmentally Appropriate Practice(DAP) and to explore the mediating and moderating effect of teachers' self-efficacy on the relationships teachers' beliefs and teaching practice about DAP. For the purpose, 210 kindergarten teachers participated in this study. Results of this study were as follows; First, teachers' developmentally appropriate beliefs influenced significantly developmentally appropriate practice. and teachers' developmentally inappropriate beliefs influenced significantly developmentally inappropriate practice. Second, the mediating effects of self-efficacy(instructional self-efficacy, disciplinary self-efficacy, efficacy to enlist parental involvement, and efficacy to create a positive school climate) on the relationships teachers' beliefs and teaching practice about DAP were found. Third, the moderating effect of self-efficacy(efficacy to influence decision making) on the relationships teachers' beliefs and teaching practice about DAP was found.
