이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 독자들이 만드는 북트레일러의 유형과 질적수준을 밝히는데 있다. 분석대상 이 된 북트레일러는 한국독서교육학회와 (주)리베카가 2013년과 2014년에 주최한 제1, 2회 북트레일러 대회에서 입상한 42개의 작품이다. 분석기준은 메시지 표현전략에 따른 5개의 유형과 조안나 펜의 성공적 북트레일러가 되기 위한 7개 조건이다. 분석결과 우리나라 독자들이 만든 북트레일러는 정지사진 형이 제일 많았고, 다음이 애니메이션 유형이다. 북트레일러의 성공적 조건 7개 중 4개의 조건을 충족시킨 작품이 1개 있었고, 17개의 작품이 1개 혹은 2개의 조건만 겨우 충족시켰다.
The purpose of this study is to find type and quality of book trailer made by Korean readers. This study examines 42 book trailers awarded at the 1st and 2nd Book Trailer Contest hosted by the Reading Education Society and Libeka, inc. in 2013 and 2014. It used 5 types message strategy and Joanna Penn‘s 7 conditions of good book trailer as the analysis criteria. This study reveals that the most frequently used type of book trailer was still and strapline type. The next type is animation. The book trailers made by readers rarely qualified the criteria for good book trailer. Only one book trailer satisfied 4 among 7 conditions of good book trailer, while 17 book trailers satisfied 1 or 2 conditions.
