The purpose of this study is define the effect of the chileren\'s attributions on their performance. The subjuects are 230 children(boys:94, girls:236) in K city. The subjects perform 10 trials of golf putting and the scores are recorded as a dependent variable. The results are as follows: 1. The children who attibute their success and failure to capacity and hard work show higher performance than the chileren who attribute their success and failure to task difficulty and luck. 2. The higher groups who attribute their success and failure to capacity. hard work. and task difficulty show higher performance than the lower groups do. 3. The children who attrivyte their success and failure to capacity and to hard work significantly increase the expectation . but The children who attrivute their success and failure to task difficulty and the luck do not change the expectation.
