The purpose of this study is to analyze what kinesthetic imagery training, imagery training, physical training affect on the forward roll training of vaulting horse in an elementary school and to obtain a basic data to adapt into the field studies.
Subjects for this investigation were randomly assigned 12 sixth grade boys and girls in each group. Subjects for this investigation were received 2- acquisition trials (10 for each skill) for three days and 9 retention trials(three blocks). The scores of forward roll of caulting horse were used subordibated variance in two-way ANOVA of acpuisition and retention phase.
For this data analysis , it used two-way ANOVA Analysis performed on the acquisition trials were a 3 x 3 (three training groups x three blocks) anlaysis of variance (ANOVA). The retention trials were abalyzed in a 3x3(three training groups x three blocks) analysis of cariance.
The results of this study are as follws:
1) In auquisition phase, imagery training group of boys were more effective than physical tracining group on forward roll of vaulting horse.
2) In acquisition phase, kinesthetic imagery training group of boyw were more effective than imagery training group and physical training group on forward roll of caulting hours.
3) In acquisition phase, kinesthetic imagery training group of girls were more effective than imagery training group and physical training group on forward roll of vaulting horse.
4) In retention phase, imagery training group of boys were more effective than physical training group on forward roll o vaulting horse.
5) In retention phase, kinesthetic imahery training group of boys were more errective than imagery training group and physical training group on forward roll of vaulting horse.
6) In retention phase, Kinesthetic imagery training group of girls were more effective than imagery training group and physical training group on forward roll of valting horse
In conclusion, kinesthetic imagery training is more effective than simple physical training on forward foll of vaulting horse in physical education class in an elementary school.
