The purpose of this study is to provide basic information necessary for effectively instructing students isolated from classes of elementary physical education by investigating and analyzing those students\' behaviors and characteristics. For the purpose this researcher carried out an ethnographic research of sub-areas of elementary physical education from which students are mostly isolated, teachers\' perception of isolated students and factors related to teachers unwelcomed by such students. Then the researcher observed actual cases of those students\' isolation in physical education classes.
Rewults of the study can be described as below.
Out of the sub-areas of elementary physical education, athletics were mostly disliked by students followed by physical power activity, expressive activity, gymnastics and games in order. In regard to physical strength test items, those students were mostly reluctant to doing long-distance race, followed by sit-ups. 50m running and standing jump in order.
Students isolated from physical education were found too ofren evading such education due to their few skills of exercise, preferring exercise items in which such skills would not be exposed to others and concealing themselves withing group plays. They were evaluated lower in theoretical and practival tests under physical education. They hated the latter test, but all of them were not evaluated lower in the former test. Many of the isolated students attrivuted their evasion of physical education to scolding . rebuke or partiality by their teacher or to the boredness of the education itself. Those students and their parents showe less interest and partivipation in physical education than in any other disciplines and even rarely did or view sport . Some of the isolated children didn\'t go out for outdoor physical education classes, latest partivipated in such classes or wandered around their classroom. Others were very indifferent and powerless in making preparations and warm-ups for physical education.
Although partivipating in physical education. in most cases the surveyed children were passive in the partivipation , incorrect in physical movement and lower in the quantity of motion due to yielding and order change. Students isolated from physical education need the retoration of their own confidencem which can be accomplished under their teacher\'s much restoration of their own confidence which their inner side, so far suppressed the introduction of a variety of relevant materials and increase in opportunities of meeting between teachers and children are needed. In addition, further sudies about ways of decreasing students isolated from physical education should be systematically made.
