The purpose of this study was to make a meta-analysis of earlier studies on the effects of rope-jumping on physical fitness in sonsideration of background variables and experimentarl variables in a bid to reach a generalized conclusion. After 68 studies that met the selection criteria of the study were analyzed 711 effect sizes were calculated including corrected effect size . Those effect sizes were classified into health-related physical fitness cariables and exercise skill-related physical fitness variables in the lihgt oh the background and experimental variables and 224 mean effect sizes were compared, As mean of mean effect sizes appeared to be .76 rope-skipping could be said to have a big effect on enhancin gphysical strrength. After the calculated data were analyzedin the above-mentioned way, the results of this study are as floolws: 1. According to background and experimental variables, mean of mean effect sizes of Health-related physical fitness cariables were .73 Thus rope-skipping contributed to improbing health-related physical strength 2. According to background and experimental variables, mean of mean effect sizes turnded out to be .78 Thue rope-jumping improved to exercise skill-ralated physical fitness.
