Russian educational psychologist Vygotsky's zone of proximal development connects a general psychological perspective on child development with a pedagogical perspective on instruction. ZPD gives important hint point to a concept on a instruction and learning process. A zone of proximal development is a map of the child's sphere of readiness, bound at the lower end by her existing level of competence, but at the upper end by the level of competence she can achieve under the most favorabled circumstances. In this study, investigated scaffolding as an assistance system to help so that education occurred in ZPD that Vygotsky talked about relation between a development and education. And tried to review the results of study and did three suggestion for future study. The first, study on effectiveness of scaffolding character(quality of help of an adult, human relations between an adult and children, expressed meaning) are necessary. Second, study about relation of scaffolding and affective domain are necessary. Third, a comparison culture research is necessary.
