This study aimed to examine what relationship creative personality has with college students'
transformational leadership surveying with 215 students in the course in teacher education training
among juniors being in attendance at a four-year college located in Busan city, and to investigate
what effects related variables exert on transformational leadership.
Key findings in this study are as follows:
First, creative personality has significant correlations with the overall leadership of college
students' transformational leadership, individual consideration, intellectual stimuli, and charisma.
Personality characteristics, thinking mechanism and thinking results out of creative personality
have high positive correlations with college students' transformational leadership.
Second, it was found that the effects of creative personality on college students' overall
transformational leadership, individual consideration, intellectual stimuli, and charisma are
significant. Concretely, personality characteristics among sub-elements of creative personality exert
effects on the overall transformational leadership, individual consideration, intellectual stimuli, and
charisma, and thinking mechanism has effects on overall transformational leadership and
intellectual stimuli. On the other hand, it was found thinking results has no effect.
