미혼모의 미술치료 경험에 관한 내러티브 탐구

본 연구는 입양된 미혼모가 미술치료 과정을 통해 무엇을 경험하고 그 경험의 의미는 무엇인가를 알아보는 것이 탐구목적이다. 연구 참여자는 18세 미혼모이며, 미혼모 시설에 임신 6개월 차에 입소하여 출산과 입양을 결정하는 과정까지를 탐구한 내용이다. 2014년 6월 20일 사전면담을 시작으로 하여 2014년 12월 4일 까지 6개 월간 60분씩 18회기로 ○○미혼모시설 상담실에서 미술치료 활동이 진행되었으며, 기관 퇴소 한 달 후인 2015 년 1월 7일 추후 면담이 진행되었다. Text구성은 미술치료활동에 대한 미술작품, 대화 자료, 연구자 일지, 현장 관찰, 면담에 대한 구성으로 연구자의 지각된 감정을 기록하여 연구 참여자의 삶이 생생하게 드러날 수 있도록 탐구를 진행하였다. 그 결과 미혼모의 경험의 이야기의 주제인 답답함-누군가에게 나의 이야기를 하고 싶었다, 허전함-난 늘 배가 고팠다, 끝없음-증상을 호소하다, 입양을 보내야만 한다-그래도 엄마가 되고 싶었다, 외로움 의 주제로 경험을 이야기 하였으며 그 경험의 의미는 산고를 경험하다, 자신의 생명의 소중함을 깨닫다, 버려 짐과 이해되어짐-친모와 양모의 주제로 탐구결과가 도출되었다.

영문초록

The objective of this research is to figure out what an unmarried mother experienced and the meaning of her experience through the process of art therapy. This research includes the entire process of delivery and adoption for an 18-year old unmarried mother. The art therapy stated on June 20th, 2014. after a prior meeting with the participant at the facilities meeting room. The art therapy continued for 6 months and included 18 one-hour regular meetings that ended by December 4th, 2014. The follow-up meeting occurred one month that after she left the facilities January 7th 2015. This study includes all of the artwork conversation materials, reports, on the spot observations, and meeting logs, which demonstrate the vivid life of the participant. As a result, it could represent the various aspects of the participant's experience including anxiety-“I wanted to tell my story to anybody”, emptiness-“I was always starving mentally”, “endlessness-appeal to many symptoms of my situation”, “I have to put my baby up for adoption,-however I still want to be a mother”, Loneliness and the meaning of the experience was concluded from the results of the research when discussing the topic of exeriencing labor pains, the participant was directed to experience oneself through art therapy, and recognize oneself through labor pains, She realized the preciousness of one's life, after being both abandoned and understood.
