국문초록

본 연구는 한국 사회복지 교육에 절대적인 영향을 준 미국의 사회복지교육의 역사와 현재 미국 사회복지 교과과정에 대한 인증절차 및 사회복지교과과정의 내용 및 지침에 대하여 분석한 후 한국 사회복지 교육을 위한 함의를 제시하고자 하였다. 특히 본 연구 에서는 미국 사회복지 교육협의회에서 제시하고 있는 주요 사회복지 교과목들인 사회복 지 실천(실천기술론), 사회복지현장실습, 인간행동과 사회 환경, 사회복지 정책과 서비스, 사회복지 조사론, 사회복지윤리와 철학, 다양성의 7과목에 대한 교과목 지침 내용 및 방 향에 대하여 논의하였다. 마지막으로 미국사회복지 교육교과과정의 이슈를 짚어봄으로써 한국사회복지교육협의회에서의 사회복지 교과목 지침의 방향을 제시하고 향후 한국 사 회복지교육 발전에 도움이 되고자 하였다.

영문초록

Social work education in South Korea was influenced by American social work curriculums. This study presents the early history of social work education in the United States, the development of social work program, the process and characteristics of accreditation, and social work educational policy. This study also presents educational policy for seven areas of social work subjects, such as social work practices, social work field education, human behavior and social environment, social policy and service, social work ethical principles, and social research. Th implications of educational policy for Korean social work education will be discussed.
