해방 후 고등학교 입시제도의 문제점이 교육적, 사회적인 측면에서 지적되고 고등학교 입시경쟁의 완화를 위하여 1973년 당시 문교부는 ‘새 교육 입시제도 및 고교 평준화’ 정책을 제시하게 되었다. 동 정책에 따라 1974년부터 고등학교 학생들의 선발은 시․도별로 연합고사를 실시한 후에 실업계, 예체능계 및 특수 목적고는 전기에 선발하고 일반계 고등학교는 후기에 모집정원에 해당하는 인원을 추첨으로 배정하였다.
Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education developed a system trying to automatically locate and distribute students. The system was based on students‘ application form and their addresses as the key for locating the students. Because the system could not be used as designed, there was a need to develop new system. However, the results of the survey through Web showed that both middle-school students and their parents wanted to hold the present allocation system. The students and the parents preferred a school which is located in near by their home. Depending on the findings of this research, we conclude and suggest.
