Now in oder to develope Korea Music Education we have more interest in Material and Method than Philosophy We have tried to have good Philpsophy about Music Education. But it is not easy to find the good Material and Method. The practical concept of KODALY`S music education is Musical Readig and Writing. I tried to intoduce it. I had studed Kodaly Method and Hungary music education in Hungary. So this study is a report from the study in Hungary. The purpose of the present study was to show the practical circumstance of Hungary Music Education, and therefore , it tried 1) to elicit the Kodaly`s philosophy about the concept of Musical Reading and Writing through his words, 2) to summarize the character of music lesson and the items of eveluation and 3) to analyze Kodaly`s Singing Exercises.
