이 연구의 목적은 기능중심의 합주교육을 지양하고 포괄적 음악성을 개발할 수 있는 기악 합주 지도법을 제공하는 데 있다. 연주활동과 관련된 포괄적 음악성 선행연구들을 고찰한 후 로라 신드버그(Laura K. Sindberg)의 지도계획서가 기악합주 지도에 가장 적합하다고 판단되어 교대생들을 대상으로 1년 동안 기악합주 수업에 적용하였다. 학생들은 악곡에 대한 깊이 있는 이해와 자발적이고 창의적인 학습을 받고 자신감 있는 연주를 할 수 있었다.
The purpose of the study is to provide the instrumental ensemble teaching methods to develop comprehensive musicianship for students, by adapting the CMP (Comprehensive Musicianship through Performance) module of Laura K. Sindberg. Planning an instrumental ensemble class could be one of the hardest tasks for a music teacher, albeit an instrumental ensemble is the most essential activity in order to develop musical, emotional and social skills. Because of the scope and duration of the study, it may not be proper to evaluate the success of the ensemble class as well as to discuss the development of comprehensive musicianship. Instead, planning short-term and long-term methods and strategies through successive CMP activities should be pursued for developing comprehensive musicianship. Therefore, this will enrich the students` musical, emotional, and social skills.
