4차 산업혁명에 대한 관심이 고조되고 인공지능이 생활 속에서 빠르게 진화하고 있는 상황 속에서, 본 연구는 인공지능 시대 에 영성 탐구가 미술교육의 맥락에서 왜 필요한지에 대해 포스트휴먼 신학의 관점에서 고찰하고자 한다. 이는 기계에 의해 인간의 인지 능력이 크게 도전받고, 기계와 인간의 혼종화가 점점 심화되는 과정에서, 인간의 본성이 무엇인지 존재론적 재개념화가 필요하게 되었으며 그것은 윤리교육을 넘어서 영성교육을 통해 이루져야 하기 때문이다. 첫째, 인간의 본성으로 서의 영성 개념과 영성을 탐구하는 현대 교육 이론을 살펴보았다. 둘째, 영성의 주제를 다룬 모더니즘과 포스트모더니즘 미술가와 작품, 영성 탐구를 장려한 기존 미술교육론을 고찰하였다. 셋째, 동시대 미술에 나타난 포스트휴먼의 의미와 아울러 포스트휴먼 신학에서 추출된 교육적 영성 탐구 원리를 제안하면서, 미술교육에서 이러한 영성 탐구의 필요성이 무엇인지 논의하였다.
As interest in the 4th Industrial Revolution has increased and AI has rapidly evolved in our daily lives, this study aims to examine the question of why we need to explore spirituality in the context of art education in the age of artificial intelligence (AI), from the perspective of posthuman theology. This is because in the process in which human cognitive ability has been greatly challenged by the machine and human-machine hybridization has been accelerated, it has become necessary for an ontological reconceptualization of human beings, which should be done beyond ethics education, through spiritual education. Firstly, the concept of spirituality as human nature and educational theories seeking spirituality are examined. Secondly, the theme of spirituality in modern and postmodern art, and existing art education theories seeking spirituality are discussed. Thirdly, posthuman themes in contemporary art, educational principals of spiritual exploration extracted from posthuman theology, and a need to explore spirituality in art education are suggested.
