This paper aims to show the aesthetic emotion as creative emotional expression based on the experience
process of thinking about sudden enlightenment with gradual cultivation. In other words, the ethical values
contained in the meaning of sudden enlightenment with gradual cultivation and the lesson with practical
and systematic stages were combined with art education of expression area. In art education, the aesthetic
emotion could be realized through the systematic process of intellectual thinking and emotional thinking by
naturally converging the aesthetic experience and the area of expression and appreciation. Moreover, it
aimed to be helpful to recover positive thinking and stability of aesthetic emotion of students feeling frustrated
in the selfish reality. As the motive types for sudden enlightenment with gradual cultivation, the association(
recollection), seasonal change(scenery of season), and famous painting(ideal) were suggested.
Thus, this study aimed to draw the results of emotional expression through the process of sudden enlightenment
with gradual cultivation focusing on the subjects aesthetic experience. As the sudden enlightenment
with gradual cultivation is an alternative for the objective possibility to realize the value of ethical ideal
and emotional stability of students, it aims to give a true value and to seek for the meanings through the
process for achieving the essential goal of self-life.
