본 연구는 청년취업역량프로그램을 청년구직자(만 15세~ 29세)를 대상으로 실시하고, 이 프로그램이 미치는 효과를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 취업스트레스 척도와 구직효능감 척도를 사전-사후에 실시하였고, 변인별 프로그램 효과성을 검증을 위해 공분산분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 취업역량프로그램을 경험한 실험집단의 피험자들은 통제집단의 피험자들보다 취업스 트레스가 유의미하게 감소하였고, 구직효능감이 유의미하게 증가하였다. 이와 같은 연구 결과에 비추어 볼 때, 청년취업역량프로그램은 청년구직자의 취업스트레스를 감소시키고, 구직효능감을 증가시키는데 효과적인 프로그램으로 청년구직자가 취업준비 상황에서 느끼며 겪는 스트레스를 극복하고 효과적으로 구직활동을 수행하게 함으로써 성공적인 취업으로 이어나가는데 큰 힘이 될 것이다.
This study was conducted in order to examine the effects of employment ability program on job stress and job-seeking efficacy of young job seekers. In order to verify the effects of the program, job stress and job-seeking efficacy tests were carried out to both the experimental group and the control group twice, before and after the program. The results of the study are as follows. First, the participants in the experimental group showed a significant decrease in the scores of the job stress test compared to those in the control group. Second, the participants in the experimental group showed a significant increase in the scores of the job-seeking efficacy test compared to those in the control group. According to the results of the study, it was proved that the program was effective in alleviating the job stress and improving job-seeking efficacy among the young job seekers. Those changes can be of assistance to overcome difficulties in the process of job-search activities. The findings illustrate that the employment support program is one of effective programs to boost the confidence of job seekers and to encourage them to make integrated preparations for their future employment.
