Our society is in the age of the fourth industrial revolution and it is becoming a goal of education to cultivate creativity and personality in order to cultivate future human resources. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to learn about movie education as one of the education that can cultivate creativity and personality, and to examine how to conduct movie education in early childhood education. Through the literature search, we investigated the current state of elementary and secondary movie education, the current state of Korean film education for early childhood, and discussed future issues. There were various cases of development of National Film Education Standards in elementary and secondary education, but film education in early childhood education was not enough. Research using movies was limited to watching movies at the beginning, and research to produce movies was simply to film the theatricals. Therefore, we proposed the scenario writing through various storytelling, self expression through film appreciation and production, and the development of early childhood teacher training program.
