가트너 2018에 의하면 4차 산업혁명의 각광받는 미래 기술로 블록체인과 인공지능이 선정됐다. 블록체인은 거래 처리 정보를 데이터베이스에 저장하지 않고 네트워크에 연결된 여러 노드들에 분산하여 저장한다. 노드들 간 상호합의에 의해 블록을 만들어 기존 블록과 신규 블록들을 시간 순으로 연결시켜 체인화하는 기술로 고도의 보안성을 갖는다. 그 외에도 스마트 컨트랙트와 같은 기능을 탑재하여 블록체인의 활용을 다양화한다. 인공지능은 의사결정 및 예측 등을 하는데 사용한다. 블록체인과 인공지능 기술의 융합은 부동산, 금융, 보험, 정보기술, 보안, 예측, 의료 서비스, 생명공학, 암호 화폐 등 다양한 분야의 발전을 가속화 하고 있다. 기업들은 블록체인, 인공지능, 사물인터넷과 같은 첨단 IT 기술을 사용하여 신규 시장을 개척하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 블록체인과 인공지능 융합기술에 대한 활용 사례와 방안을 다룬다. 융합기술을 사 용한 가상 물류센터 시나리오를 제시한다.
Blockchain and artificial intelligence technology are selected as the promising future technologies of the fourth industrial revolution by Gartner 2018. Blockchain does not save all the transactions in the database and saves those in each node. Blockchain is a high-level cybersecurity technology which forms chains connecting the existing blocks and the new block chronologically after creating a new block by mutual agreement between nodes. Applications of blockchain can be diversified as including functions like the smart contracts. Artificial intelligence can be used for decision making or prediction. Convergence of the technologies accelerates development of various industries such as real estate, finance, insurance, IT, cybersecurity, prediction, medical service, biotechnology, crypto currency. Companies pioneer new markets using high-tech IT solutions such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, and IoT. In this paper, we explain application examples and plans for convergence technology of blockchain and aritificial intelligence. We suggest a virtual distribution center using the technology.
