This study analyzes the students of sports major students fitness locus of control(intrinsic and extrinsic factors and fortune). In addition, the relationship between the fitness locus of control, physical strength control items, gender, grade, exercise frequency and the person s exercise ability is investigated by correlation test.. A questionnaire was conducted for 114 students majoring in sports at C university located in Gangwondo. As a result, the students majoring in sports participated in this study expressed that the intrinsic factor was stronger than the extrinsic factor. Furthermore, the relationship between gender, grade, athletic ability, and exercise frequency demonstrated that the intrinsic factors had a significant correlation with exercise frequency and capacity. This result can be interpreted that it is important for sports students to increase their self-confidence and exercise frequency so that they can improve their physical fitness control tendency.
