The aim of this study was to propose future tasks through preliminary discussions on implementation of common curriculum for subject selection right of high school student in Metropolitan and Provincial Offices of Education. To achieve aims, this study reviewed the guidelines of subject selection right of high school student, the basis of implement of common curriculum between schools, and the characteristics of implement of common curriculum in four Metropolitan and Provincial Offices of Education. In its final analysis, this study proposed future tasks to improve an implement of common curriculum. The related index of subject selection right considered student s aptitude·career was presented in curriculum general guidelines from 7th curriculum to 2015 revision curriculum. Also, to ensure student s right of subject selection, it is admitted for students to complete other school subject that isn t open in student s own school. Common curriculum was implemented that focused on deep subject and special subject, 2-3 unit in 1 semester, in after school. Also, there was some problems that is the student movement, teacher workload, educational gab between region in implementation of common curriculum, According to analysis results, this study proposed the need of the extension of implementation unit in 1 semester, the connection in implementation and evaluation of common curriculum related school curriculum, the examination of relevance of standard for subject completion, resolution method of the educational gap between schools and the teachers workload.
