무인 운전 및 원격 조정 시스템은 4차 산업혁명 시대의 핵심 기술로서 다양한 분야에서 큰 관심을 받으며 발전하고 있다. 해당 분야를 대표하는 것 중의 하나가 드론이며, 이는 고정식 회전 날개를 이용하여 하늘을 비행하는 항공기 및 조종사가 직접 탑승하지 않고 자율적으로 움직이거나 원격 관제 센터의 지시를 받아 무인으로 운용되는 자동차, 보트 및 잠수함 등을 포하는 다양한 형태를 포함한다. 드론은 초기에는 군사용으로 활용되었지만 근래에는 농업, 택배 서비스, 방송 중계 및 개인 레저 활동에 이르기까지 다양한 민간 분야에서도 널리 활용되고 있다. 특히, 다양한 IT 기술과 결합함으로써 활용 분야를 활발히 넓혀가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 드론 기술을 적용한 범죄 예방용 무인 순찰 로버드론을 설계하고 구현한다. 해당 무인 운전 차량은 지정 코스 주행 및 실시간 영상 전송 기능 등을 갖추고 있으며, 농촌의 농작물 절도 예방과 도심 골목 지역 순철을 통한 범죄 예방 등 소외지역 치안유지에 널리 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
Automated driving systems and remote control systems are core techniques in the age of the 4th industrial revolution, and developed with greate interest in various application fields. A drone is one of the representative item among the systems, and it includes various devices that are automatically op erated. That is, not only flying objects with rotary wings but also vehicles, boats and submarines are drones if they have automated operation systems or remote controlling systems. A drone is initially used for military purpose, but it is widely used in various private fields such as agriculture, parcel service, broadcasting and personal leisure actives. In particular, it is actively expanding the field of utilization by combining various IT technologies. In this paper, a rover drone for preventing of crime is designed and implemented. The rover drone has techniques for driving specified course and real-time image transmission, and it can be used for preventing of crop theft in rural area and crimes in the unserved areas of the peace.
