Davos Porom predicts that by 2020, more than 5 million jobs will disappear, and the Oxford University research team asserts that by 2033, 47% of the current profession has disappeared. What kind of career education should be done for future generations to survive in the era of data-driven science and technology? Is an important topic for educators of today s generation. This is because future generations are more likely to have jobs that do not yet exist. In the pre-4 industrial revolution, jobs were mostly changed in manufacturing or in the service sector, but after the 4th industrial revolution, office and professional jobs are more likely to be threatened. In future societies, most of the profession s abilities are likely to be replaced by AI, and it is highly likely that such a decrease in professions will not be achieved gradually. Therefore, not only the current student-centered course education but also adult path education is necessary. This study examines the meaning of route education in the 4th industrial revolution and presents the direction of paradigm shift.
