This paper discusses how the NCS-based training of cabin crew affects the learning motivation of the students of the related departments and argues that it has a huge correlation with the qualification system. For this research purpose, the second chapter observes the previous studies that did experiments and validations on the learners, and the third introduces the details of the US system of cabin crew as a model which applies to the Korean case. Also, the fourth insists that this system has the function of a reward and feedback and can improve the internal control expectancies by knocking around the theories of the learning motivation. With the criticism that there are too many institutions majoring in the Aerial service, there has been a concern that the students’ motivation might be poor. However, the qualification system of cabin crew, presented as a definite objective, can build not only the learning motivation composing the factors of attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction but also self-efficacy. Furthermore, it will enhance the national competitiveness to gain the opportunity of getting a job in the foreign airlines based on the certified license.
