The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of the questions and feedback presented in the open class of the special education teacher using the effective question and feedback of the special teacher in order to improve the effective teaching skill. To achieve the goals, the researchers collected and analyzed the 15 lessons practiced during the 4 weeks school internship program of preliminary special education from April to May 2018, under the guidance of on site special education teachers. The results of the study are as follows; First, the total number of questioning in the lessons of the preliminary special education teachers were 1,531, and in the first open class, the average number of questioning were 102. Second, the total number of students responses to the preliminary special education teacher s questioning were 1,113, and the short-answer type response was the highest with 72.7%. Third, the special education teacher feedback on student responses was 1,082, which provided an average of 72 feedbacks in the first open class. The results of this study can be useful as a basic data when planning the way of improving the teaching skills of the preliminary special education teachers in the future.
