This study evaluates the public deliberative process on the reform of the university admission system in 2022, based on the conditions of successful public deliberative process. The evaluation criterion of the public deliberative process is as follows: ① impartiality and professionalism of the central operating body ② inclusiveness of participants and fairness of process in the scenario workshop ③ the representativeness of participants and the accuracy of information and deliberation in the deliberative polling ④ social acceptability and policy reflection. The results of the evaluation of the public deliberative process are as follows. First, impartiality and professionalism of the central operating body was lacking. Second, There is a limit to the representativeness of the participants in the scenario workshop and the deliberative polling. Third, the accuracy of the information was lacking and there was not enough time and opportunity for learning and deliberation. Fourth, the effect of deliberation by the participants in deliberative polling is low. Fifth, the social acceptability and the policy reflection of the result of public deliberative process are insufficient.
