이 연구의 목적은 청년 삶의 질과 관련된 언론 보도를 체계적으로 분석하여 사회적으로 대두되고 있는 청년 관련 과제들을 발굴하는 데 있다. 기존 연구에서는 청년 삶의 질을 파악하기 위한 시도는 이루어졌으나, 대체로 실태조사에 근거하고 있어 결과의 일반성을 확보하는데 제약이 되고 있다. 따라서 생산 가능인구의 주된 대상인 청년들이 괜찮은 삶을 영위하고 있는지, 어떠한 영역에 관심을 가지고 있는지 등을 파악하기 위한 연구가 시급한 상황이었다. 이 연구에서는 언론 노출분석이라는 방법을 통해 광범위한 데이터에 기반 한 과제들을 제안하는데 초점을 두고자 한다. 연구 방법은 조사연 구를 사용하였으며, 청년 삶의 질 조사 결과 발표 시점부터 15일간 언론에 보도된 내용을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 대학생과 취업준비청년 대상으로는 원하는 일자리, 희망 연봉 등을 관심 있게 다루고 있었 으며, 취업청년 대상으로는 현 직장의 만족도에 관심이 있었다. 이 밖에도 정신건강이나 결혼 등 미래 준비에 대한 관심도 높았다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 정책 제언을 하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 년 관련 정책이나 연구 주제를 기존 청년 취업 중심에서 청년 삶의 질 전반으로 확대할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 청년들이 미래를 준비할 수 있는 다양한 정책 방안 마련이 필요하다. 셋째, 취업뿐만 아니라 현재의 주거, 정신건강 등을 함께 논의할 필요가 있다.
The purpose of this study was to examine quality of life of youth issues that have been emerging in society through analysis of media reports. Youth population and their quality of life have been paid attention by many researchers. But, previous studies have not been qualified to raise the more generalized research results. The study method used the survey research and analyzed the contents reported in the media for 15 days from the announcement of the results of the quality of life of youth. As a result, I was interested in college students and job preparation young people interested in desired jobs, desired salaries, etc. In addition, interest in preparation for the future such as mental health and marriage was high. Based on the results of the analysis, policy recommendations are as follows. First, it is necessary to expand the policies and research topics related to the year from the existing youth employment center to the quality of youth life. Second, it is necessary to prepare diverse policy measures for young people to prepare for the future. Third, it is necessary to discuss current housing and mental health as well as employment.
